1st October 2009 Newsletter No: 04
Dear Parents,
We will be joined by Emma Pilgrim and Andrea Robertson on work experience next week.
It is always good to see ex pupils happy to come back to us.
Individual school photographs will be taken on Tuesday October 6th - you are welcome to bring in younger siblings between 8.30 – 8.45 am to have their picture taken individually or for a family photograph.
Harvest Service on Wednesday 7th October at 1.45 p.m. We would be grateful for any donations of produce (fresh or tinned fruit and vegetables and cakes always go down well). We will start by auctioning some of the larger items and then year 6 will have tables of produce for sale. (The sale will not start until after the auction has finished). The children can go home early if there is someone here.
Thank you to Freya, Chelsea, Jay and Courtney who represented our school at the Small school Parliament at UWE( university of the West of England). They worked with pupils from 9 other small schools on workshops on e safety and “ learning in a paperless society”. They listened to key note speeches about “2 making a difference”, hearing about the work of the university, the life of a Parish councillor and a county councillor.
