20th May 2010 Newsletter No: 32
Dear Parents/Carers,
Don’t forget Inset day tomorrow Friday 21st May-teachers’ assessment day.
Miss Brewer, Mrs England and I are off to Sweden for the next part of the Comenius project. The focus is the outdoor learning environment which is brilliant for Miss Brewer.
Friends had a really good meeting last night and we welcome lots of new members and Mrs Donna Thomas as the new chair. A huge thank you also to Sandie Wiggins who has resigned after 11 years and has been the treasurer since 2002! We will miss her. Friends are now busy planning summer events and the next meeting will be Wednesday 9th June at 7.30 pm at Acton Lodge Farm (Donna’s House).
Well done to the football team who are competed in the small school tournament at Tortworth School on Wednesday. They drew four of their matches and lost to Tortworth the overall winners. A huge thank you to Richard and Billy for their enthusiasm and hard work with the team
