Dear Parents/Carers,

We had a wonderful time in Crete and were made to feel very welcome. There is a display in the hall for you to look at on parents’ evening. Our partner schools enjoyed the recipe books. We have lots of recipes from our partner schools to try out.

We were lucky that it did not rain too much before the Easter egg hunt. Thank you to everyone for organising this and to Mrs Bourns for allowing us to use her garden.

It has certainly been a musical week. Class 2 sang beautifully at the Infant music festival. Their costumes were by far the best - so thank you everyone for your efforts.

On Friday evening the year 5/6 pupils will be singing at Colston hall. They have been practising hard so it should be an excellent evening.

Class 1 will be visiting the church next Wednesday afternoon as part of their’ baptism’ topic.

Only Gym club next week. Please can they get changed in class 1. A spring clubs letter will follow concerning other clubs.

End of term church service 1.45 p.m. on Thursday 1^st April, you are welcome to take your children home straight after.

Stars of the week – none last week as it was Inset day

School lunch summer term menus came home on Wednesday and in addition to the menus pupils may also order baguettes or Jacket potatoes after Easter.

In the Summer term everyone stays in the playground until 8.55 a.m. A bell will then be rung and the children will line up and go into their class room. A member of staff will be on duty. After 8.40 a.m. you may leave your child providing you let member of staff know first. You are welcome to stay if you prefer.

Dinner money for next term is £1.60 per day - If anyone would like to pay for the whole term from 19^th April to 28th May the cost per child will be:

3 meals per week £28.80

4 meals per week £38.40

5 meals per week £44.80

Note: May bank holiday and in set day this term. Please make any cheques payable to South Gloucestershire Council.
