28th January 2010                                                                        Newsletter No: 19

 Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you to everyone who came and supported Elena and Freya’s tea party for Haiti.

We raised £85 last week and hope to raise even more tonight.

Last Inset day has been arranged for 5th July Emergency first aid training for all staff.

This is Miss Week’s last week – class 2 will miss her very much. She has been a wonderful student and we will all miss her.

If any of you worked at Rodford school or are an ex pupil, you have all been invited to a celebration event to mark the school’s closure. More details from the office.

The languages day seemed to go very well. There were some fantastic costumes - well done everyone. Thank you to Mrs Burchell for organising such a fun day. Also to Julie and Claire in the kitchen for organising and preparing the International menu.

Thank you to everyone who has returned the security questionnaires. Please return any more forms by 1st February.

Are there any more parental/ carer responses from years  2 and 6. These are the green ones for the local authority .
