29th April 2010                                                                        Newsletter No: 29

Dear Parents/Carers,

With her baby due in June, Gemma Smith will be leaving us at the end of the half term. Sheila Chapman and Lisa Stiff would like to increase their hours. This still leaves us with a vacancy for a dinner lady/school meal supervisory assistant for Tuesday lunchtimes and for unexpected absences. If you are interested please visit the school office.

Well done to the multi skills team from years 1 and 2 who competed at the South Gloucestershire sports festival on Saturday. They were an excellent team and well deserved the Fair play award. We had by far the best supporting group, so many thanks to Megan, Jenny, Natalia, Mrs Pandolfino, Mr Sandy and Dr Tofts for their efforts.

Also to the hockey team who are competing at Brimsham Green next Tuesday.

Olivia’s CD’ s are selling like hot cakes .  Copies are selling for £5 with all proceeds going to Cancer research. If you would like a copy please ask her dad Andy or ask in the office.
